Lewis Hatchett & Amol Muzumdar

In this episode I speak with Amol Muzumdar, former professional cricketer in India now batting coach of Rajasthan Royals.

Amol use to hold the record for the most runs scored in the domestic tournament in India, the Ranji trophy. A record that was eventually broken but he amassed over 11,000 runs in first class cricket during his career.

I was lucky to catch up with Amol during a quick trip to Australia and within moments of talking to him, listening to his philosophies and outlook on sport I knew I wanted to hear more. So in this episode we talk about growing up in india during the 80’s, playing cricket in harsh conditions, building resilience, enjoying the game, how he stayed so focused during big innings and more.
